Population Trophic Pyramid: Mountains are always moving, alot of them move in an upwards motion over time. When mountains do this, it brings the the animals, plants, ect. But the population of plants start to decrease when the altitude increases. When the plant population decreases the animal population decreases.

Biomass Pyramid: The Biomass pyramid starts with primary producers like plants. Then herbivorous consumers also known as Primary Consumers eat the plants and get a quite a bit of protein. Then carnivorous predators also known as Secondary Consumers eat those Primary Consumers and get some of the proteins but not all. Then Tertiary Consumers (which are also predators) eat the Secondary Consumers and get very few proteins.
|
Energy Pyramid: Carnivores and herbivore produce the least amount of energy compare to plants. Tertiary consumers get the least energy because they eat the the other consumers which try to get the energy of the herbivorous consumers who got the food from producers.
